When celebs decide go blonde, they do so with confidence. It’s not a half-assed effort. They’re in all the way without a care about what others think. Some of them use their own hair and fry it into oblivion, while others get a little help from extensions, clip-ons, wigs and weaves. Here are some celebrities who’ve done it right.
Beyoncé –Although her caramel complexion is best complemented by auburn or dark brown hair, she still rocked the blonde with curly layered waves and lowlights.
Mary J Blige was one of the first to sport platinum hair in the 90s, hasn’t stopped since and has worn it all: short, bobbed or asymmetrical. Known for switching up her looks on the regular, we’re sure the R&B singer has an extension collection of wigs, weaves and extensions locked away in a special room.
Rihanna debuted her wavy blonde locks at last year’s Grammys. Of course, not everyone approved, but she carried it well. Reminds me of Farrah Fawcett.
Eve – Always poised and confident, Eve took her blonde, lowlight, ombre, shaved side updo to a whole new level at Bergdorf Goodman in New York City.
Leona Lewis – She sports dark brown tresses on her latest album cover, but as a blonde, Leona Lewis looked more natural than most.
Nicki Minaj – What can we say about the ultimate hair chameleon? Bleach blonde isn’t for everyone and lacks realism, but we can’t help thinking that this wig probably did her more good than harm by covering up what could be damaged hair.
